Forestry & Timber

Forests play a vital role as carbon sinks in the global ecosystem by absorbing carbon from the atmosphere, storing it in its biomass and harvested wood products, helping to slow climate change. This actively managed fund invests in companies that contribute to solving global environmental challenges through sustainable forest management and wood-based biomaterials.

Overview

Sustainably managed forests act as reservoirs of biodiversity and help to safeguard soil and water resources, while wood-based materials can substitute plastics and other non-biodegradable materials, supporting a circular economy model. The fund invests mainly in companies operating in the forestry value chain including forest planting and management, or production or distribution of products derived from wood.
